Mr. Mooney has over forty years in mechanical specification, design, analysis, failure analysis, inspection, troubleshooting and expert witness work on pressure vessels, tanks, piping, high temperature fluid solids units, refractory and thermal insulation and other process equipment. He is former chairman of the ASME Pressure Vessel Code Special Working Group on Toughness and a member of the API Subcommittee on Aboveground Storage Tanks. Mr. Mooney has given worldwide ASME courses in Pressure Vessels and the API course on Tankage. He also has a Masters Degree in Stress Analysis and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
